154x55mm santoku style blade featuring an “antique Sheffield steel” carbon steel core and mild steel cladding from Richard Harris out of the UK. This is a fun little blade. It has a certain “cleaver like” feel reminiscent of a heavier weight nakiri, but with the added utility of a small forward tip. A nice grind here as well. The handle is English elm with textured copper ferrule and pin and comes with a custom fit saya.
This blade is previously owned but used once for test cutting. There are some vertical marks in the original patina behind the edge from this testing. Please see pics. Otherwise in excellent condition.
