From designer Kari Nyquist (1918-2011) working for Stavenger Flint, these chef themed small plates were designed for Hotel Viking in Oslo, Norway. My guess is these are from the early 60s and were used as drink coasters, although I have seen snack plates and ashtrays mentioned as possibilities. 5x5” Sold as a set of 4.
