This big fella right here is a “wootz steel” (another name for crucible steel, and the original historical “damascus”) blade from Peter Burt. I am very excited to have connected with Peter, who is an extremely skilled maker, and hopefully will be carrying some more knives from him in the future as well. This one is big and bad, but keeps it classy (and classic) as can be. With a 300mm cutting edge, just a hair shy of 69mm tall at the heel, and an overall length of nearly 480mm, this is not a knife for the faint of heart.
